Our Veterinary Neuroscience Advanced Course is a two-week intensive course that will take place in Bologna (Italy) from 23rd July to 2nd August 2024. In addition to the main course on weekdays, there will be three satellite courses held in the preceding and following weekends. The topics of the satellite courses are Veterinary Advanced Diagnostic Imaging (20th to 22nd July), Veterinary Equine and Large Animals Neurology Advanced Course (3rd to 4th August) and Advanced Veterinary Neurosurgery (Cremona, 3rd to 4th August).
The course is held, on biannual basis, alternatively in USA (organized by ACVIM Neurology) and in Europe. The three last face-to-face editions were, respectively in Bologna (Italy - 2014 ; ~ 130 participants), Columbus (Ohio, USA – 2016; ~ 120 participants), Bologna (Italy – 2018; ~ 210 participants).
The team of the speakers includes 27 neurologists with internationally acknowledged reputation. Attendants are Vets (including Residents) with specific interest in small and large animal neurology from all around the world (approximately 50 from USA and Canada). The course aims to help neurology residents to prepare their board exam. This means that large part of the attendants will become in the near future European or American Diplomates and, perhaps, opinion leaders in the field of Veterinary Neurology.
